What do you feel in your heart right now?
Helen Keller once wrote in a letter, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.
How do we feel with our heart? Well, of course we are not talking about the sensations of that beating organ in our chest. What Helen was talking about was experiencing a deep and perhaps intense sense of satisfaction, contentment, enthrallment or joy.
Psychologist Abraham Maslow called these “Peak experiences.”
For those who know God, these experience can become part of their normal life. King David once wrote, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. “ You too can experience the beauty and the joy of life. Ask God to come into your heart today and let him teach you to Live the Love.
