Most Counselors agree that clear, open and regular communication is vital for a healthy love relationship. At the start of a new relationship, it’s easy, you want to know everything about this person, their likes, dislikes, hopes, dreams and fears. Yet as time passes and you become comfortable with each other, it is so easy to let the distractions and turmoil of life cause you stop communicating, stop sharing and learning about each other. The same goes for a relationship with God.
The bible tells us that Jesus used to withdraw to a quiet and lonely place to talk with God. Can you take some time this week to withdraw to talk with each other and even try talking to God? Your love and your relationship will grow stronger because of it.
